Mixed Media Artist
Jenny’s love of textiles and stitch was rekindled during her period of study at university. Having gained her BA (Hons) Fine Art in 2017 she enrolled in a Creative Stitch course with the WI in Ipswich and completed her certificate in 2019. Jenny is also a member of ‘Sew What!’, a textile group that was formed by former students.
She finds the process of experimenting and manipulating materials exciting and challenging. Jenny revels in gathering ‘stuff’, preferring to create work from vintage, recycled fabric and found objects.
Much of her inspiration comes from where she lives on the Suffolk coast, but occasionally she enjoys exploring more subjective issues.
