Spinner, Weaver, Felt maker.
I have been spinning for a number of years, I dye most of my yarns and am a proficient Felt Maker and Weaver. I am particularly interested in the use of texture and colour in my work. The excitement of finishing a skein of yarn, or the thrill of lifting from the dye pot has never left me. The idea of being able to take the raw material through to a finished piece gives me a great sense of achievement.
I have been a member of Textile Art Group Suffolk for many years and enjoy the exposure to different textile media and the chance to learn and be inspired by new skills that TAGS offers. I am a member of Lavenham Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers.
