Spinner, Dyer, Felt Maker and Weaver

I have been spinning for a number of years, dye most of my yarns and am a proficient Felt Maker and Weaver. I am particularly interested in the use of texture and colour in my work. The excitement of finishing a skein of yarn, or the thrill of lifting from the dye pot has never left me. The idea of being able to take the raw material through to a finished piece gives me a great sense of achievement.

I have been a member of Textile Art Group Suffolk for many years and enjoy the exposure to different textile media that TAGS offers. I also teach Spinning, Dyeing and Felt Making, and am a member of Lavenham Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers.
