Textile Art Group Suffolk

Textile Art Group Suffolk (TAGS) was formed in 1993 by a group of Suffolk textile artists. Members include embroiderers, spinners, weavers, paper makers and quilters although many of the artists have others specialities. The emphasis is on Art and experimentation and the mixture of skills within the group provides a broad, lively environment in which to work.

The group meets each month for working meetings - each has a theme or focal point and often one of the members will give a workshop of demonstration to the others. Meetings are held at Willowmead Alpaca Centre in Otley.

TAGS holds an annual exhibition at The Pond Gallery, Snape Maltings and takes up other exhibiting opportunities all over the county as they arise.
