I have been interested in the visual arts all my life and am never happier than when working with a sketchbook in my hand! The visual world is a constant source of inspiration, especially when conjoined with the world of ideas - poetry, story, history and the sciences. Like Paul Nash, I hope to 'call up memories and stir emotions'.

Textile art, with the opportunities it offers for employing different techniques (for example, dyeing, printing, painting and stitching) suits the way my ideas evolve from core themes.

Much of my work is for sale and may be commissioned. I am available to run felt making workshops and shorter practical sessions on a variety of topics for interested groups, including making and using sketchbooks. Please email to discuss the possibilities.
