Textile Artist
Liz Hodgson has completed City and Guilds parts 1 and 2 in Fashion and Design and in Creative Embroidery.
Having completed a C & G teaching diploma, she taught lingerie making and needlework, but has now moved towards textiles and embroidery.
Her work is varied, using patchwork, mixed media and dyed materials. Liz has also had commissions for Ecclesiastical embroidery.
Clothing and bags remain an interest, while texture and colour in wall hangings are predominant.
